What happens when a ruthless gangster goes too far? The Mob: A Woman's Revenge produced by Marlene Mendoza and Michael Givens

Sweet Revenge!  What happens when a ruthless gangster goes too far?  When loyalty is questioned?  When the wrong man crosses the wrong woman?  The Mob, A Woman’s Revenge is a new film in Pre-production by Gilt Enter Films and Executive Producer Marlene Mendoza.   The film is based on the book authored by G.R. Maria becomes daddy's little girl very quickly only to see him killed in cold blood on her tenth birthday.  She vows to avenge his killer.

It is 1914 and a beautiful girl is born to Anthony and Brigetta Cachiotti.  Maria becomes daddy's little girl very quickly only to see him killed in cold blood on her tenth birthday.  While holding his hand during his las breath Maria vows to avenge her father's death.
Maria learns to sing and then traps her father's murderer Antonio Capresi into marrying her.  The game begins as she tries to gather enough information to catch him and the rest of his mobster types to put them in jail or end them completely.
Will Maria avenge her father or will the mob win the game?  She is either going to put Antonio away or exact the ultimate justice: his death!

To star Eric Roberts, Joe Estevez and a few iconic actors.  A supporting cast of up and coming actors such as Bill Porter, Mango, Scott Burns to name a few.  This story of deceit and heartbreak is full of interesting characters that all intertwine with action and intense drama.  Taking place in the early 1930’s, we learn to grow close to some of the characters while eagerly yearning for the demise of the villains.

After a quick glimpse into the film through the teaser produced by Mango, Bill Porter, and Marlon Torres, we are struck by the plotting and no-nonsense call to action by what is obviously a ride down history mixing an era when prohibition created opportunity and opportunity created the rules.  This film is sure to please any fan of The Mob when it was at its height of progression.  Unlike other mob films to date, this story will keep you riveted and on the edge of your seat, eager to learn the fate of the main character who vows revenge of the man who killed her father.

Production is planned for mid 2014 and will shoot mostly in Las Vegas, NV and Chicago, IL, with parts shot in New York.  Keep your eye out for this one, but leave your Tommy gun at the door!
