Description
It is 1914 and a beautiful girl is born to Anthony and Brigetta Cachiotti.  Maria becomes daddy's little girl very quickly only to see him killed in cold blood on her tenth birthday.  While holding his hand during his las breath Maria vows to avenge her father's death.
Maria learns to sing and then traps her father's murderer Antonio Capresi into marrying her.  The game begins as she tries to gather enough information to catch him and the rest of his mobster types to put them in jail or end them completely.
Will Maria avenge her father or will the mob win the game?  She is either going to put Antonio away or exact the ultimate justice: his death!

This story of deceit and heartbreak is full of interesting characters that all intertwine with action and intense drama.  Taking place in the early 1930’s, we learn to grow close to some of the characters while eagerly yearning for the demise of the villains.

We are struck by the plotting and no-nonsense call to action by what is obviously a ride down history mixing an era when prohibition created opportunity and opportunity created the rules.  This book is sure to please any fan of The Mob when it was at its height of progression.  Unlike other mob books to date, this story will keep you riveted and on the edge of your seat, eager to learn the fate of the main character who vows revenge of the man who killed her father.

Keep your eye out for this one book, but leave your Tommy gun at the door!
